  • Are Face Masks Required?

The State of Wisconsin has instituted a face covering mandate, which runs from August 1 to September 28, that requires anyone age five or older in our state (visitors and residents alike) to wear a face covering in all public INDOOR or ENCLOSED spaces where a person(s) who are not members of an individual’s household or living unit are present. This mandate means: • When in our building, face coverings will be required. • Masks not required in private rooms • Proper social distancing in our entire building is strongly encouraged and marked. We take the safety of our guests very seriously. If you do not have your own face covering, you may purchase a disposable face covering for $1 upon your arrival to keep you safe and in compliance with this new mandate.

  • Are there age requirements?

All ages welcome at Booby Trap Escape Rooms. Players under 14 must have at least one paid parent/guardian inside the room to play. Guardian must be 16 years or older.

  • What are you doing different for COVID-19?

All bookings will now be private. This means you play only with those you choose to book with. We encourage you to book your experience with household members only. If friends from a separate household are joining your game, we recommend staying 6 feet apart during the game. No more than 10 people can be in the room at one time. Bookings have been spaced so that groups will not be in the lobby simultaneously. If a group arrives early, they will be asked to wait outside or in their vehicle until the lobby has been emptied and sanitized. Each escape room is thoroughly sanitized between each game. This includes wiping all touchable surfaces and props as well as spraying open areas. All touchable areas of the lobby will be sanitized after each group passes through. Upon arrival, this includes handles, restrooms, and all payment equipment. Upon leaving this includes handles, restrooms, and photo area. We highly encourage all customers to pay in advance online. This not only guarantees your reservation but makes your check-in process completely touch-free. Employees will check in customers from behind a desk, 6 feet away. They will not enter the escape room once the group has arrived, and will only answer questions afterward in the lobby where there is extra space for social distancing. All employees will be temperature checked and screened for symptoms before each shift. Hand sanitation stations will be available throughout the building. Signs have been placed throughout the building to remind customers and employees of social distancing. This includes floor decals demonstrating a 6-foot distance.

  • What is an escape room?
